Just thinking
after a recent Porsche Club run up one of the local mountain roads. 14 Porsches, an M5, a Z8 and a 360 barking, rasping, bellowing, and cackling their way up a 10km mountain road with lots of switchbacks and tightening radius corners. Great fun and the tourists enjoyed the sight as well. Lots of

Anyway, I described it as a gaggle of Porsches, given that they were cacophonous, swarming and gregarious. The wife disagrees saying that implies Porsches are common, vulgar and unpleasant.

I could not find it on that site.
So perhaps we could say a squadron of Porsches? Or continuing the military theme, how about a platoon of Porsches borrowing from Don's alliteration?
A swarm (angry, fluid and volatile, persistent)?
A pack (scavenging, hungry, malevolent, also alliterative)?
A riot (colourful, noisy, anarchic)?
A... right this is getting silly, I'm off to do some work.
