Seems I wasn't the only one who was narked by the mass display of crap driving by brits on the way back after LM. To the driver of black EVO6 NI*BLE with front fog lights on (broad daylight, of course) - presumably so I can see you coming, although it'd be impossible not to - next time you'd like to test your saloons ability to fit into my boot let me know and I'll make the necessary arrangements. Quite where you thought I was going to go whilst I was overtaking traffic on a 2 phking lane road I have no idea.
This wasn't the only example of arrogant and generally tw@tish driving behaviour I witnessed on the way back in either France or GB. What is it about coming back from LM that makes people behave like this? No wonder we brits end up with a bad name.....

Funny that, I thought the opposite... Well as far as city driving is concerned... (see my other post)

This guy seriously cut up the Audi S3 in front of us as he realised he was going to miss the turn off, guy in the Audi gave him a mouthful when he stopped at the peage.

One guy in a shitty old 205 almost killed himself on the M40, as he pulled out just in front of me, and if I didn't notice him starting his manoeuvre, he would have clipped his back bumper with my front... What would happen if he got sideways as around 80 in that?

you have to remember 95% of british people cant drive. i much prefer being abroad sometimes as despite the chaotic traffic laws, everything gradually works out and the people try less stupid things!

Come on fella’s, get over it. The guy I expect had the fog’s on to warn the French drivers that he was on the way (at speed I guess). Shame the French don’t do the classic ‘Mirror, Signal, Manoeuvre’. Many times I was on the anchors because of ‘I have my indicator on therefore I have the right of way’!! Five yards ahead of me.

Half the fun is the blast to and back. Kill joy stay at home and watch it on the box!!

My personal thanks have to go to the tw*t in the e-class merc who swung over the white line on the road to Arnage and took out my wing mirror. I'll be in touch.

And regards also to the driver of the polish HGV who rear ended me while crawling along in slow traffic on the road outside MB.

But at what risk to other road users????????????

A very narrow minded and selfish view IMHO.......................

Of all the drivers here, Trackdemon I know is one who enjoys a good blast and he doesn't hang around, but there's a difference between having fun and driving like a knob.

To be honest, I always notice a decline in driving standards coming back to the UK from the continent so it's not just specific to Le Mans weekend

i'll be honest here and say that i do not know the french highway code here, but i do know that in germany for example, the indicating vehicle has right of way over the faster moving vehicle closing from behind. Is this the case in france, and may explain thier lemming tendancies ...

I have found here that by copying the locals, and whenever overtaking a row of cars, stick the indicator on and people dont leap out at you.

I agree, there were some idiots in some very nice cars driving stupidly on the way back. People complain about the Gendermarie taking away the fun of the drive down and back, but with the way alot of people drive there, they have every right to get pissed off at us Brits.

Hi Steve,

From your profile I am assuming the NSX is driven by you - apologies if this is someone else.

I was directly behind the NSX in my mates RX8 and I have picked up the "p!ss poor" driving with the Evo you describe (who was also driven by my mate) on video.

I'll let the rest of the PH'ers decide who was in the wrong with the manouvers in this video. I do know that we didn't appreciate the brake test the NSX performed as we came past.

Andy, from what I can see, your mate drove like an idiot, you were being agressive about the Landy being in the way, racist (in a light hearted way I suppose) - and equally your driving was quite aggressive too. You werent exactly happy that Rviant wanted to pull out infront of you from the looks of things/ the amount of space you granted him.

I suspect most people when irritated by aggresive driving would be cautious coming back into lane as trackdemon seemed to be. You could say it looked like he brake tested you, however it looks like you make a reasonable attempt at accelerating just as he starts to pull in, rather than waiting for him to clear the lane (a pet hate of mine) - so you werent exactly in the right either. Also, your RX was approaching him quick (accelerating despite the obvious signal/space) as he wanted to pull out too. This was early in the vid - which was a bit bloody stupid.

Havent ever met Trackdemon yet (though been to a few Vmax's where hes there) nor have I met Rviant (though I know his plate) and I believe the Disco driver you were calling a tit was C3GTK - another member on here that I only know by number plate. I have no connection to any of these people so hopefully my view is impartial.

Is that camera zoomed in or were you really that close to the NSX just prior to the "brake test"
