This isn't a speedtrap - I walk past it every day on my way to work.
There are two groups of BiB with a 20yd gap in between - One lot check the tax discs and radio through to the second lot who give them "the finger".

Great to see real police work targeting real road-traffic lawbreakers IMHO.

Being new to the area, and not up-to-speed with the local road names, where's 'Farnborough Gate'? (Looking on Google Maps didn't help)

more and more this isn't about car tax, but insurance and will eventually cover MOT too I expect. Generally if their are loads of police on bikes or cars it's ANPR for one of the above, Speed traps can use video/still images so only needs one van.

If it is in Farnborough then it's Hampshire Police. I'm not 100% sure but I think that will be ANPR. If it's since last Thursday RPU have been ripping the arse out of the overtime due to the terrorist threat doing ANPR work.

Indeed. Farnborough Gate is actually closer to Frimley than it is to Farnborough. silly

Edit: There is a McDonalds on the corner of Farnborough Gate too. I only mention that because it is easily spotted and identifiable and could jog your memory.
