Goodo, anyone testing tomorrow, I know George and I are in the afternoon.

Andy, make sure I give you the cash for the garage, even if it means beating me about the head with a spare driveshaft to jog my memory!

I won't be soiling my spare drive shaft with your cranial fluid young man. It's brand new and still in its wrapper!!

(Not testing myself this time, but arriving at the circuit tomorrow evening)

I'm not there - the loom in the car is that bad we're having to re-wire the whole thing.

Fire hazard is an understatement.

Will be out for Rockingham though...

is qualifying still at 10-50 and the race at 14-55?
This is what is on the snetterton main web site pages. Anyone know if the times are still accurate.

I beleive that qualifying is now at 10.25 and the race at 1.00, although things never seem to run to time, especially at Snetterton. See you there!

Correct decision by Snetterton that Darren Dowling has had the decision overturned for him to be disqualified and rightly so. Congratulations, hope you didnt give your mate ear-ache all the way back home!

yep quite the right decision in my book.

I must admit to being quite reluctant to take the podium for 3rd when I felt i came in 4th/1st in class.

Its a real pity when somthing like that happens, as it really takes the edge of the whole weekend for everyone. There were also 2 alfa drivers dqf'd for the same reason. I wonder if their organiser argued their case...

The weekend has really closed things up in the hunt for the title, marc's dnf now has him trailing us by only 4 points... I think were both about level on mechanical problems now so lets hope neither of us have an more...

I had quite an easy run, I put 2 class a cars between me and the chasing class B pack, and made a charge away in the first couple of laps, and then marc throttle cable failed from 2nd place.

I chased Steve Glynn in the Class A car for a few laps, I managed to maintain the gap but couldnt live with him on the back straight, so after about 1/2 way I let him go and concentrated on getting it home..

only 2 weeks to a double header at rockingham, and quite a lot of work to do checking the car over. We've got a slight drive train problem!!!!

See you all on the 9th G

Was it correct that DD wasn't originally included in the results for not having a transponder fitted, despite having been warned on more than one occasion?

Yes, his lack of transponder has been mentioned at each round it was mentioned on the qually sheet that he wouldnt be timed, but no mention of being excluded...

Interesting one.

Why had DD taken no action to run a transponder? Presumably to do so is part of the series regs?

Yep it is in the regs, one of the drivers checked after Darren was dq'd

No idea why he hasnt changed it, other than the fact if its anything like mine its burried somewhere in the middle of the car, and as he's building a sagaris maybe the new one has gone in that..

I think if he had been told after qualifying point blank that if he didnt have one then he would be excluded then fair enough, the rest of the drivers felt that as he was allowed to start then he should be included, after all he did take a fairly comprehensive win on the track... although I think the class B win was by a bigger margin
