A customer just showed me pics of his Mini he sold in England before coming to Perth. A very cool Cooper S (think he said it was a '99, 40th anniversary special) complete with a half-mini trailer, in Brooklands Green and Union Jack on the roof.

He said he sold it to an enthusiast, anyone on here?

Blimey! Nothing for 5 months then a reply within a micrsecond of me bumping it

Oh, I thought it was unusual. Is there some significance in the flag on the roof of a Mini?

Not treally any significance - Union flags are popular, as are checkered flags (have that on mine) and a variety of other ones.

Errr, maybe it's something to do with the Mini being British Made! confused

The roof being nice and rectangular & flat helps!

National pride and all that! The trend has also been carried forwards to the 'New' BMW Mini.

I saw a new shape Honda Civic the other day with a union jack cloaking the entire car - looked awesome, but not as good as a local Mini CooperS (BMW) that also has a jack covering the whole car. But the best one simply has to be the Jaguar on Austin Powers!

Very patriotic!
