I have had a 997 c4s for about 2 months now & the only problem I am having is with the keys. The buttons to open the doors & hood are really sensitive & frequently open the car/hood/windows from my pocket. I have taken to holding the things by the metal key part when im close to the car. Even when I collected it from the OPC, the hood was opening on its own. I havent complained or mentioned anything to Porsche as both sets of keys are equally as bad & It looks like a design fault. This happens if there in my pocket or just being held in my hand.

Any other 997 owners having similar problems?

What are the key fobs like on other models, are they the same design??

cheers

A few of us (all with C4S) are having the same problems - someone on porschclubgbforum thought their dealer had resolved the issue..until it happened again !!

The key is the only thing on my 997 C2s i don't like, really cheap and nasty compared to the flip out Audi key I had before.

As well as opening the boot when I walk away from the car the key button has started to jam down when pressed.. most un cool having to try to pick it out again to get back into the car
