Help boot release not working

Nedd some help from fellow PHeaders. went to open boot this evening on T350 and the bloody thing refused to budge. It was working this morning before I set off for work! Any practical suggestions before I get the F. B. H. out?

Could be water in the switch, behind the badge baseplate?

Dont think so but who knows? Need to get into boot as need to fill her up moro or day after as this is my daily driver.

Thanks Richard will give this a try tomorrow. This is why ph is invaluable to all. Hope this works. What about a fix tho? What can I do?

Have you checked the fuse?

Otherwise sound like a dealer job for a permanent fix.

Mines done on the odd occasion - found switching the alarm/immobiliser on/off a few times normally sorted it.

Hello,
Just picked up my Tamora yesterday and got it home to find the boot release is not working. I have tried turning the alarm on / off a few times but have not had any joy. Any ideas ?

Just got a mail from the owner and im in - just need to get the roof in now

Behind the rear badge is a small button switch the badge has two screwed studs attached there is a spring on each with a shaped rubber sleeve over the spring followed by a washer.
Inside the boot under internal light pull away the carpet you will see two nuts if you tighten them till you hear the solonide activate the switch then slacken off the nuts a little that should do the trick.The T350 has same set up.
