I see it as a bit like Protestants vs. Catholics. In princple, they should both agree and get on - same basic principles apply... rear wheel drive sports cars that can be driven hard and great fun had in. But, like the various factions of the Christan faith (hell, we're not just talking Protestant/Catholic here - could throw in Gnostic or any other sect, or even say the same about Islam or any other faith), there are always fundamentalists who think in absolutes, and judge on the detail rather than the principle. The nuances of refinement vs. outright thrills, subtle styling vs. individual flair, etc.
Me, I judge on other subtleties - I salute anyone who's in a sports car and enjoying it to the full (whatever that means) without being a wheel-borne menace to the populace of our fair isle. Likewise I've seen both TVR and Porsche drivers who shouldn't just have their cars taken from them, but their under-developed manhood they're compensating for, too. Now, I've seen more Porsche drivers of this nature, to be fair, but that's purely because I've seen more Porsche drivers in general...
If there's an octane-God up there, he'll not be happy about all this bickering over a truncated forename vs. a full spelt out surname, when there's the plague of Satan-scameras swarming like locusts all around.

Plus the fact that Porkers are fairly easy to drive in comparison means that a lot of non-petrolhead t
ts with money make a beeline for them thus bringing the reputation of a lot of Porker drivers into disrepute.

Porche's are pretty boring me thinks i know its brilliant them having engineered that big rear end thing in line but they could atleast try and change what the thing looks like..they allways remind me of frogs...(not the french) as in the animal...
We recently had the local porsche owners club along to our monthly meeting here in Essex, they were a great bunch of guys and gals.and we get invited to their barbeque every year, as in most clubs there are wa***ers, but not this crowd.
But i have a differant view about a bl**dy BMW driver especially a local one that drives a Black M3 or m5 convertable. I get pushed round the back roads by this tt most days, why do they so drive so damn agressive.
I don't meen all beamer drivers are like that, so don't lets start a rant please

Funny thing is I dont mind comments like that, because most of the BMW drivers Ive come accross have been assholes

Agreed, and I do so like putting the frighteners on them with my howling banshee Wedge after they've been bullying some poor innocent little hatchback.
Have to agree-and I have owned a couple. Some BMW drivers - usually pre-owned M series drivers-are so bloody antisocial they should have ASBO's.

A lot of people get carried away with the badge...they think that owning a BMW instantly means that you're above anyone else and I agree with the pre owned M series...
Think is there are people like me that buy BMWs because they represent outstanding value for money when purchasing used!!
