I speak as I find, Dave, and I've seen your work at shows.
Sadly (for you, perhaps) I have no desire whatsoever for a Cobra, but if I did, and didn't want to build it, I'd be straight on the phone.

Why post comments with my quotes in if you don't intend me to understand them? Perhaps you're too intelligent for me to grasp your phenomenal wit Mr. Wilde.....

Judging from his profile I guess he's trying to protect his investment from these nasty replicas

After all, it doesn't read like he's bought a car... Just an asset he hopes is going to appreciate.

"Bought for £48,000 in May 2004 at 7,000 miles. Now worth about £52,000 at 8,000"

Based on what?
Put it on eBay/in Auto Trade/On the CRC website and see what it's really worth!
I have never seen the car but from my expeience in the industry I would give a max of £32, and that is if it has an LS motor and ALL the trimmings, which it doesn't!
Just my opinion of course.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.....

The 'wood' you require is of course, 'would' and you do need to try a little harder with the quote procedure.

For s sake, how old are you????

As a final note..... I take it your 'Cobra' is actually built by AC is it??? Your profile tells me so. I trust it isn't actually a replica by another manufacturer is it??

Pat.
I may have got the wrong end of the stick. Is your "Cobra" a GD?
If yes then I stand by what I say but if it's an AC of a Kirkham then I apologise for not doing my homework correctly.

So what is it? I some how doubt it is either an AC or a Kirkham as 6.3 Litre sounds more like a Chevy engine, and that would never do in either of the other two.

Nip it over to Hallmark Cars, they can't be far from you, and see how much they'll give you for it.

It would appear it is an AC, Dave. Check out the profile below:

I'm sure no-one would suggest they had an AC when in fact it was a GD replica. That'd be like claiming your MR2 with a body kit was a Ferrari and would surely result in the embarrassment of everyone on PH laughing at you long and loud......

Hi Ferg.
5.0, 5.7, 5.8, 6.5, 6.7 or 7.0L yes, all Ford variations . But 6.3 is a 383ci Chevy (A stroked out 350ci).
I'm thinking Pat is Pat B from the CRC website. (Both from Harrow too!)

Thanks southpaw,

I don't mind what anyone drives as long as they get their pleasure from it.I also come from the school of "if you have nothing good to say,say nothing."

For someone with a real SNAKE he's not very CHARMING.
Sorry mate just fu****g with you... I have a GD!!! PAT
