Anybody know what can be done with the head/beam lights on a Tuscan 1 for driving in Europe? I very much doubt they can be adjusted & I don’t think the stickers from Halfords will be a lot of use!

Don't worry, just buy a set of converters. DON'T fit them until you get pulled! Which I doubt you will. Never had a problem with either the Chim or the Tuscan.

True Al.

What 'convertors' do you refer to though?

I know that you cannot drive a Sagaris abroad at night legally, (guess it may be the same with others models) as you cannot get deflectors and when I asked my dealer and the factory I was told they dont do them.

So like most I bought any old ones from Halfords and took them with me in the glove box.

Attached is a diagram I got from Hella. I never bothered to do it myself (too much hastle). Apparently the process is:

To convert from UK to continental Dip.

Remove Screw A
Loosen screws B&C
Turn rear of lamp 15 degrees and reinsert screw A (from position marked L/G to R/D)
Tighten screws B&C

Hope this is of some use...

Sounds simple enough, but you have to be a contortionists with child size hands to actually do anything behind the headlights, I never bothered with my previous Tuscan and that spent a lot of time in Europe and never had any problems
