I am looking to invest in one of these cars . Could anyone please advise of any really sore points on these models.
Also how many where produced this year, and is there any way of telling if its an original martini or a white turbo with stripes on it. approx valuation 97k with service history?
Many thanks guys.

I didn't think that the "Martini" was any different mechanically. I thought it was just a factory decal option. Happy to be proved wrong though

just sticky bits of coloured paper, think it was an option. Remember 911 &PW doing an article on it. GMUND cars have one at the moment. Would have thought the issues are same as any other turbo etc.

There was an option to have Martini coloured leather seats, only ever seen one, a car with this option would be worth more........a white Turbo with Martini stripes is just that and value accordingly......turbos range from £6K for a dog to £30K for the best........the ones to look out for are the £15-£20K cars which look sound but could need major £££££ to bring them up to scratch..........an inspection is an absolute must

Where do you find a turbo for £6K. It would be worth it for the spares alone!

justin banks had one for 5995 recently, car was a dog but priced accordingly...........I have had loads offered under £10K but they need 7K -10K to make them decent but even then they will never be nice..........a breaker isnt worth £6K in my eyes..if the engine is a rough running oil burner and the car is full of rust and the interior is tatty there isnt too much left in major components to sell

You might like to get in touch with Howard Watts who’s the owner of this establishment, he’s something of an expert on the Martini cars and owns two himself.

Interestingly he owns the only black car with Martini stripes which also has a blue printed engine in it, the last time I was passing both were safely wrapped up in Carcoons in his garage. Neither unfortunately has the fantastic martini interior.

I see he has some rather nice looking regular Turbo’s for sale
