Dashboard green temp LED - replacement

The green LED next to the cabin temperature dial on my '95 Chimaera has packed up - it's been working on and off for a while and seemed to work when I pressed it until recently.

Is this a std part I can replace? Is it a soldered connection or some kind of push fit (I've not looked too closely at it yet). www.tvrgear.com have 3mm green LEDs on their website - looks like this might be the part ...

If anyone has done this any advice/suggestions would be appreciated. I know it's only a tiny fault!
