Thanks to "Lamborghini Sqn Ldr CrikeyMikey" for organising a cracking day out.

Lambos on display for RAF Family Day:

Chinook display was AWESOME. They don't look like they can fly let alone be flung about.

The two best V12s in the world: Lamborghini and Rolls Royce Merlin.

Great day out. Nice pics, Phil.

Of course, now that you've blown my cover I'll have to kill you!

I love those pics. Particularly the one with the Gallardo and the Espada and the chopper above. Thanks for posting.

P.S. I've got a weakness for the Espada but it seldom gets a mention compared to some of the other older cars. Why is this?

You own one, so now you can shout the name! Let the prices rise!
Great license plate btw...

Great mystery!
As Phil knows, I used to own a series 3 Espada years ago, and thanks to Phil, I have just found out that the car is still around (and for sale).
They still turn heads today, and if you can find a good one, you will not be bankrupted, when you buy it. Although you may be, by running it.
They are fabulous cars, which still perform very respectibly today.
You can buy an average condition one for about £15k or a minter for £25k. That is Maserati 3200GT money.

Thanx Phil . . . I saw one on your 2nd pic.

Are you guys up for some more Espada?

Yes, please!

The car is a looker IMHO. The first Lambo I ever saw was an Espada and we all know that you never forget an early love.

Phil's car is a bit special, as they didn't come out of the factory as good as his.
It also doesn't lose out much to more modern tackle, either.

Absolutely awesome pics Phil, love the model Spitfire stuck to your aerial!

Also nice to see the two auto-journals Lambos out together! Only complaint is that there are no close-ups of your a-j stickers...

(Mike, email me your address and I'll send yours out. You obviously qualify for the ultra-exclusive "I write auto-journals" one as well as the "I read auto-journals" example.
