Hi friends of TVR,

this is my first step in the Forum. I have to apologise for my bad english, but I hope you all can understand what I want to say.
I tried to cantact Nickname "wedg1e" (Ian), but it didn´t work. I saw his homepage about "wedges" and that he has a lot of experiance about wedges. Because I got a 350 i from 87 some years ago and now I have a problem and nobody in Germany can help me, now I tried to find contact to british enthusiasts and hope to get an answer to my question. So ... if Ian or anybody else reads this words , please let me now that this message could be seen in the forum. (my email: udo@inglessen.de) In the case that someone sees this message here my problem:
After the engine (rover V8, 3,5 l, Lucas fuel injection) starts without problems and goes the first kilometers without problems, when it grows warm, it began to, oh shit, my bad english, in Germany we would say ... der Motor ruckelt im Teillastbereich, Fuss vom Gas, kein Problem, Fuss aufs Gas und hochbeschleunigen, auch kein Problem, aber mit etwas Gas nur so dahinrollen geht garnicht, dann ruckelts wie auf einem Rodeo Pferd). Possible, that anyone understands German and know what I mean, but I trie to say it in English: if the Gas-Pedal isnt push down, it is no problem, if it is push down to speed up, it is no problem, but if it is push just a little bit to cruise for example throuw the city, it does like a rodeo-horse, its is like there is not enough fuel or if interupt the icnition. Has anybody an idea what it can be.
Thank you and greetings from Germany (Cologne) to Great Britain
Udo

Morning Udo-sorry you are experiencing problems.
You'll get a faster reply posting this on the General TVR forum- this part of the site for cars with the Speed 6 engine. You may well get a reply from people who have owned a V8 before as people love to help one another on this site but it will take time. I am sure Piston Ted will redirect your question to that part of the forum as soon as he see's it but as its Sunday it might be quicker to re-post.
Good luck Udo

Steve

P.S.-Your English is fine
