Outlook 2003 / McAfee Spamkiller issue
Discussion
Got a PC with XP Pro, running Office 2003 and McAfee Internet Suite (all products the latest version and fully up to date with all patches etc).
On running Outlook 2003, it downloads all the mail from the POP3 accounts (three of them), and McAfee is correctly configured to deal with the spam on all accounts.
However,
having downloaded the mail, Outlook then hangs and goes into its "Not Responding" mode. It can be killed with task manager, and then on re-opening Outlook you can read the mail / use Outlook.
On some occasions it gives the option to "stop McaFee Spamkiller" with Outlook, but not all. I'm convined the two are linked and the cause of Outlook not responding, but I'm damned if I can find out why...
Any ideas..?

That will tell you what its doing, which should be a start...
EDIT: Oh and Outlooks own Junkmail filter is reportedly better than SpamKiller so I'd start by getting rid of SpamKiller. Completely uninstall not just disable it in Outlook.
