pressure guage wiring?

Magnolia oil pressure guage
It has 3 terminals on the back of the guage
All numbered 1 2 3

Where do they go on the terminals?

I know one of them is a live feed and the other is to the sender
but the third wire goes where?

I guess there may be an earth in there somewhere, and perhaps a dashboard lighting feed? Not the sort of thing I'd want to find out by trial and error in case it blows the gauge up.

Lighting is separate

I'm looking at the gauge itself which has provision for 3 wires
Earth is via the sender

I don't know, but if you're sure one is a live feed (I'm assuming you mean permanently live) that would imply the device is electronic, in which case one of the others must be a ground connection.
