n/s under dash trim

ive just retrimed my car and made up a new n/s under dash trim and wonted to no how this is held up is in just {wedged} up behind the dash lip or is it held up by a clip or stap? can anyone help

Mine's got a bolt thru the glovebox & a tie wrap looped over it

Mine was wedged up but started to sag and drop. So a luggage strap around the wiper motor does the trick.

Mine has a triangular Dexion shelving bracket that spins round on a short bolt...

Mines held up with green plastic coated tie wire

Mine has a piece of 25x6mm Aluminium, about 75 long, glued to the top side of the dash return. This is tapped M6 and I have a stainless socket head screw with a large stainless washer holding the panel up.

Can you be a bit more precise with those dimensions please Mick? Are you sure it's not inch by a quarter by 3" long...?

Must admit, it's one of those things I've been meaning to sort for the last six years since I got the 390... along with the dash veneer (glovebox is peeling horrifically now, though I think someone pulled at it during a recent Lakes trip).
