Hi, I believe it is a Toyota colour from an MR2 series, which they called Dark Blue Pearl. And the code I have is: 8EF

But you should have this info on the cars VIN plate and or in the hand book.

Hi Mark,
Did you say that you had a Paint code on the VIN plate.
Reason for question, I have a Crimson Starmist Chim.
Now, I got 2 paint codes, 1 in the handbook and 1 on the VIN plate. They ain't the same! I recently ordered a touch up pot from Webb’s Auto's @ Bristol using the code from the handbook. The colour is almost perfect.
Now at some stage prior to my ownership the front nearside headlamp surround has been re-sprayed, it's noticeably darker than the original colour. My gut feel is that the VIN plate number was used to get the colour match for this re-spray.
So my suggestion is, if you can get hold of the number, buy a touch up pot first and do a trail paint match. Approx cost £5.
Hope this helps.

Big Al.
