Simply question....how do you guys do it? I am hoping there is an easy program that will do lots of pics in one guy rather than doing them individually.

I remember seeing some shareware on a Cover CD once, but guess you may have better knowledge of the better packages. Much appreciated.

Bryan, most packages PSP, PS etc allow you to do watermarking quite easily. I'm not sure about with PS, but you can script their addition in PSP9, just by recording your actions once and then replaying that script for all of your images in Batch mode. That's all quite simple to do. However saying that with PSP you'll have to register with Digimarc and pay for the privilege to get you're details online. I think it's starts about $99 for 1000 images or something like that.

BTW if you're the dangerous variety from blatchat, I've got a few piccies of you down around Arnage on Friday morning

Sounds like a complex procedure but one that is worth it. I am starting to edit all my pictures anyway so will just get the watermark put on.

I am indeed dangerous of the Blatchat variety. Where can I see your pics?

Bryan... are you worried that they will be used by others on the web or in print?

If it's the former - it'll be really hard to track down and prosecute - if it's the latter, well just make sure the file size isn't big enough to reproduce in print.

Also... watermarks are often pi55 easy to remove.

It's up to you of course, but I simply put on my site 'photographs cannot be used without permission - usually given' and it's amazing how often people e mail me (sometimes with money to spend).

BTW... I haven't been on Blatchat for blimmin' ages (I'm an ex R500 driver) do they still have the 'you have to register' stuff? Last time I tried to log on I was shown a black flag.

Interesting comments Steve, I was thinking that watermarks might be as easy to remove as put on. I will be adding the details on my page about permission is required.

Yes they are still registering, you have to be a paid member of the club to use Blatchat.

Bryan I have just Watermarked all the photos on my website. After searching Google for information on how to do this I found this page the most useful. However It only helps if you currently have Photoshop 7 or newer. You can see my results of my website.

Hope this helps,

Ray.

I use FastStone Image Viewer - it has an easy to use batch watermarking feature.
