local user accessing apps on another domain

This is NT4 and not AD

i need to set up a TS user to access an app on another server

if i set up a local user (not member of domain ) on a TS server how do i restrict him to only that app on another server?

or is the only way to do it to add a domain users and restrict everything down

Are all the machines involved on NT4 or just the domain controller?

Could be wrong but doesn't 'run as' work with accounts from different domains to the logged on user? Not sure how that helps you at this point though

You need to set up a trust relationship. It's been years, I if I remember, the domain with the app has to trust the domain with the user account. That will give the app server the list of users on the other domain, then just set the permissions.
