Thanks to the guys who turned up at Snetterton to see our debut As you can see, we have a lot of learning to do with a best time of 1.27 but with suspect cam timing, dodgy throttle pot and an inexperianced driver the car could do much better and will at the next round.
BTW Tim Hood got it round in 1.20 without really trying, despite too much camber and a lack of power so it can only get better.

didn't realise it was its debut, glad I was there then to see it

hopefully see it again racing at Brands in september, thats probably the next race meet that we'll be able to make I hope.

Class C about 1.11
Class B about 1.17

The car can do it in class B but George and the rest of the team(like me) have got to learn fast.

Oh Dear
Took the car to Power Engineering today 227bhp/245ftlb at the fly but even worse as we came off the run, it threw out all its coolant.
Looks like the gasket gremlin has now hit us as well, bit difficult to tell how much the power loss is down to cam timing and how much gaskets but the torque peaked at 3750rpm so I suspect the car was well down on power anyway.
The poor old wallets are going to get hit again.

Hi Derek, sorry I missed your debut, I was on my annual holiday, but at least you gave it a good go. I hope all is well for the next time out, you deserve it for all the time and effort you`ve put into the car, good luck mate.
