Considering this as an upgrade to my MK1 GT3, to make it just about perfect... no more worries re speed humps and gradients, and no more new front splitters and plastic panels for underneath the car... i know it's expensive but i'm not planning on selling the car any time soon...

anyone any experience of this?

Ohlins do shocks that raise for extra ride height. A couple of k per corner but you pays your money... any motorsport place could fit these and advise. Wouldn't be overly fussed about driving to pfaffenhausen for it.

Seen it in action on a RT12 - very impressive but you will wince at the price (fitted @ Ruf)

Maybe consider the upgrade if/when they open up in Cheshire?

don't know if ohlins will supply it 'direct' as it were given that RUF must have developed it with them, worth a try though...

but thats not much more than a decent remote resevoir ohlins setup anyway. are we all talking about the same thing here? the ruf suspension that raises ride height by 2 inches at the press of a button?

yup; I'm trying to get you more accurate quotes tho'

from memory it's about 1.5k per corner for normal ones, 2k for the ride height ones

will check...

I enquired about this with Ruff. From what I can gather it is automatic based on whether you are going slowly enough.

Doesn't solve the issue of grounding the front splitter on bouncy roads

respect...I have never grounded on bumpy roads!

According to the website it is button operated and works at less than 60km/h. Would solve the only thing i dont like about my GT3. Would have to sell my parr jrzs though.
