Jamie,

any problems at the moment as I can't ping my website, let alone log in to it.

Cheers,

Ian

There are issues, I'm in the same boat.

His absence assures me however that he is working on it as an utmost priority...

just what I thought - I know I hate 'users' bothering me when theres a problem with one on my systems.

Normal service should be resumed shortly then....

;( Day From Hell.

Was my birthday yesterday too!!

There is a fault with one of the upstreams hardware which is being investigated, we're in the process of migrating the affected network (one of three)

The majority of sites and servers are up and fine, it's only Really Register1 that's affected.

All services are 100% up.

If you're having an issue, by all means raise a support ticket.

what IS interesting is Easynet DSL customers arent getting past Easynet into Level3, but this looks to be an easynet issue.. Level3 are investigating.

if anyone has any queries, feel free to drop me a mail.

Gone again. I'm on ukonline though, so maybe it's the easynet thing. Haven't had problems until now though.

one of the VDS Serves was overloaded due to one of the sites being DOS'd.

The firewalls kicked in and stopped the attacker, but the site in question looks a little ... poorly coded, and it allowed thousands of intensive PERL scripts to be launched, the quickest way to get everything back was to suspend the site and reboot that VDS Server.

This was done and all is well with the world.

Fun week!

;( Sorry Chaps

Is anyone else seeing their sites down again? Or is it just me (again )? (I have raised a support ticket )

Maintainence works taking a little longer than expected (hence still up!)

Joy. It should be complete by 8.
