Will a T350 registered June 2004 have the updated speed 6?
Discussion
I have had a search through the forums but have been unable to find any information, if someone can point me in the right direction.
Can anyone tell me if a T350 registered in June 2004 will have the updated speed 6 engine.
Does anyone know when they started fitting them in the T350?
What were the updates?
Any info will help, as I am new to the speed 6, previously had the Chimaera and the RV8.
Would I be better getting a 54 or 05 rather than the 04 (June 04). The 04 plate car only has 5000 miles on the clock, which seems a little low.

I hope someone knows and Pm's you offline.
However, I suspect they won't. If you buy an 05 car, you'll get the 3 year warranty and it will be less of a concern.
I don't know any specific details, but my June '04 car was running really well at 18k miles and sounded better than earlier (2003) cars that I'd heard.

Excuse me stating the obvious but you might want to find out when it was built not when it was registered (if that is your concern). My car came with a document stating when it was built.
Buy the car based upon how it runs/features etc, the 3 yr warranty will cover you if you put enough miles on. A couple of dealers I have spoken to state that getting the first 20,000 miles on the clock finds anything out.
