How to you cope with the wait?

I put the final deposit and spec on my Boxster S (my 1st Porsche ) on Sunday but have to wait until Aug/Sept for delivery as I cant give my company car back until then, but I want it NOW! How did you guys cope with the wait for your new Porsche?

Alan, unfortunately you can't cope with the wait I ordered my Boxster (also first Porsche) last March and got it in December... it was the longest 9 months of my life!! It's amazing how exciting simple things like thinking about the spec is, and as for getting the date to go in and spec my car, well .

But, having said all that, when the big day finally arrives the long wait is very worthwhile Good luck!

Best thing you can do is buy a secondhand Boxster S as a temporary vehicle in the meantime. I came close to doing this, and I only had to wait 4 months!
