Has anyone ever heard of a diff sticking, meaning the rear wheels spin more easily when cornering ? (car in quetion is a Cerbera with a "standard" diff)

Nope, can't imagine how a diff would fail like that. As they wear, the standard friction ones become more "open", i.e. not a limited slip diff any more.
