Is it possible? The keyboard on our laptop is buggered and I' going to use one of those funky little roll up ones, but to stop the machine having a bleeping fit everytime it starts up I would like to disable the onboard keyboard.

Any advise welcome.

BTW it's a Toshiba Satellite 1130-Z24. I was going to try and repair the keyboard, but can't actually get it out.

Don't know that model off top of head, but *usually* you need to take off the strip between the top of the keyboard and the bottom of the screen to expose the clips/screws/whatever for the keyboard. Then just leave the k/b in place but disconnect the connector ribbon.
