I'm looking to put some minifin drums on the back of my project Mini to space out the rear wheels the same as the fronts (Cooper S discs). I have seen some on Ebay for half the price of the normal suppliers, but they are unbranded. Does anyone know if these are any good, or dangerous copies?

While I'm here, what size arches will I need running 6x10 rims with this set up?

I have a set of genuine minifins. Only done circa 500 miles so like new.

Email me an offer if your interested. Please dont post on here as its against rules to discuss deals on site!

You need super minifins, minifins are unspaced. I have some shit copies, they are surprisingly heavy. The mini spares ones look good, my mate has some and they are beauties. I'm going to be investing in some soon.

That is true the mini fins are unspaced they are a direct replacement for the standard drum.

You will also need longer studs if fitting superminifins, I used the minifins with a pair of very light alloy spacers and longer studs if they are needed.

And I agree on the quality of the copies they are very heavy, real minifins are seriously light.

Thanks for the advice chaps, sounds like I either need to fit some Supafins or just a set of spacers.

just get spacers you have the flexibility to remove them then if needed. Not that I am biased at all lol!
