Oil Drain plug
Discussion
'Slightly overfilled'?
Getting a little out is difficult (drain will almost certainly be a plug in the sump, have a look under the engine, the plug it will be at the lowest point) because once you have the plug out, the oil will be draining quite rapidly, and putting the plug back in mid-steam will be a messy experience ...
If you can, sucking it out via the dipstick tube would be a better way of getting 'a little' oil out.

depending how much you overfilled - other route is to unscrew the filter and empty the oil out of that (a filter full at a time - start the engine to refill it ...). I personally wouldn't attempt the sump plug - 10L(ish) if oil creates a fair bit of back pressure on the plug - getting it back will be a nighmare !

Good idea, but this may mean that you are running the engine without oil for the first couple of seconds as it fills the filter up. 10l sump capacity? That's huge!
