A new Moslem Cola is being launched in the UK. Is this allowable under UK law? Could someone launch a Catholic Cola or a Methodist Cola?

What an atrocious concept; certain sections of the Islamic fringe, overtly displaying an appalling brand of religious jingoism and targetting the the most unrelated, all be they conspicuous, symbols of what they manically proclaim to be the symbols of their oppression.

So that yesterday, everyone's favourite fruitcake hails the Shuttle tragedy as an act of divine retribution against the deceivers and here, a soft drink targetted for commercial retribution.

I hope Coca Cola manage to block the manufacture of this stuff in all vaguely democratic nations on whatever tenuous pretext their revolting leeches can convolute; how about using religious hatred here in Blighty?

will this be a normal bottle of coke with a black hankie thrown over it then? bearing in mind the original bottle design was based on Ms Monroe's most curvacious figure

Personnally I think stuff like this is the way to overthrow all the Islamic fruitcakes out in the middle east.
Instead of bombing these people and increasing hatrid we should be opening McDonalds out there and westernising them, look at the state of Russia since Ronald McD has been operating out there

He is actually not that far off the mark. There was a several page article in the Times T2 supplement a couple of months ago when this was originally launched.

Although I cant quote it word for word after this amount of time.

I think you've got your dates a little wrong here! The coke bottle shape was initially started in athe early 1900s, MM wasn't even a twinkle in her mothers eye at that time.......................

I was under the impression it was launched as a reaction to Coca-Cola and the world wide grip it has on the soft-drinks market, particularly in the 2nd and 3rd world countries, and against the marketing ploys it uses to maintain the monopoly situation.

Anyway i don't think the third world war is going to be fought using soft-drinks and market-share.

Thats the theory anyway, "Qibla" Cola is made in Yorkshire by a British Company and says that 10% of its profits go directly to the third world and they are not fighting any cause on religious grounds. They just stand against the likes of Coca-Cola. Their packaging is a complete rip-off of Coke however!!

edited because I spelt "Qibla" wrong

I dont think the cola is meant to fund bringing down the USA, but rather to assist the Palestinians.

I'd have a bottle of that.
