Just got insured through Peart Assurance for my Chimp 4.0 and the premium was £532 with protected bonus.

I was amazed when they said that because the value is under £15,000 then no alarm needed to be fitted.
It is also covered for track days provided they are told beforehand.

Thought that this was quite reasonable, but i wouldnt recommend not having an alarm.

They are one of Ted's Sponser's, see www.pistonheads.com/advertise/list.asp
and then www.peart.co.uk/contact.html

My insurance has just moved back from the Lurgan to Cumbria office!

Peart must be ultra selective about who or what they insure as they were £390 dearer than the best quote I got from Bell Direct.

P.S. No convictions and 7/8 years full no claims bonus.

Phone Number for Peart Ins 01539-730666.

I did get a quote from Mannings for £473 but because my other half had a slight touch in my other car last year, they wouldnt give me protected no claims discount.

Using Peart myself; about 650 for and S3c, over 30, with full no claims, no points and unlimited mileage plus business use. Covered for track days, but if I fit any mods to the car, (asked about better brakes and a roll bar), can't do track days at all.
