So... one month into ownership, notice a small leak under the car
Goes into OPC and confirmed it is the RMS
Getting back on Friday after replacement on warranty. Couldnt believe it, didnt even have to ask for it! Was sceptical about OPC's based on what I had read but i have to say they have done me proud!
I feel so privileged to be part of the RMS club!!!

I have had 3 one in a C2 one in a C4S and one on my new 2000 mile GT3 each one has been sorted by my OPC quickley and efficantly either under warenty or as Porsche Goodwill. The extra bonus has been a clutch fitted for £150!
I think it is important to develop a good relationship with your OPC and stick with them if you are fair with them then they will always follow the money.
I wonder how many people who complain about service think about how there OPC staff are bonused?
A simple thing to keep your service guy on side is when your warentee is up for renewal ignore the Porsche GB reminder and buy the warentee localy through your service advisor/manager he is bonused on that! Good will at no extra cost to you

Was it dripping Bermy or just (Ahem) moist!!?? .. Mine's doing a bit of the latter, and I'm wondering if I can force em to change it.......
Well, the patch of oil that i noticed was maybe the size of a 10p piece, after 24 hours
The service guy said i was indeed right, it was the RMS, and it was a bad leak but not to worry, the warranty will cover
Parts wont come in from Germany till friday, but i've been assured the engineers have 'done a few before' so it will be ready for collection at 9am saturday...

well, it went in for the smokey exhaust, and just mentioned the oil leak
they offered up the RMS replacement without having to ask, so maybe just phone em, say youve noticed oil and could they check its nothing sinister
worst case they say its fine - no cost to you. Best case, they say it needs doing, and you slip in the clutch request! Job done!

From experience don't mention it's under warranty unless they remember you. I'm sure you're not a forgetable man though.
They seem far keener to replace it when they think you'll be coughing up some serious hard earned!
