Anybody tried on of these yet...? I was holding out for an iPaq, but the top model X5's are half the price of iPAQ's with similar specs. Only thing is they don't have an option for built in Bluetooth/WiFi. Not going to baulk at that though as I can use a CompactFlash card or whatever.

Any info appreciated...!

They seem very good. Difficult to get lod of one to try it out though. There's a 2 week delay on delivery too. Most of the MS based PDAs are much of a muchenss anyway, being as they use the same OS.

Careful, the cheap Dell one doesn't have a docking cradle thingy.

Oh well, just ordered one with Dell. 400MHz boy will be winging my way with a 3 week lead time on it the mo...

I'll do the WiFi with an add-in CF card or PCMCIA through a PCMCIA->CF adapter of some sorts. I have a few PCMCIA cars available but no CF's. Still, they're cheap nowadays. Shouldn't need a Dell branded one as it's on PocketPC and most brands are supported...

Incidentally, anyone know what the chipset is in the Dell WiFi card...?

Hmm getting more interested, it would be most useful if I could get wifi and blue tooth, and still have a slot for extra memory....Any ideas?

I don't know of any manufacturers that do a combined WiFi/BT CF Card, but if you want to swap them out then you could get one of each. X5 will take an SD/MMC card in separate slot at the same time as a CF card.

I won't want WiFi/BT at the same time so not an issue for me, can always swap out wit a BT CF module if I want to talk to the T68 or my PC via BT (no point seeing as it's also WiFi enabled). Fancy chucking in a 1GB Microdrive though. It could hold my Notes mail file then (just)

Mmm Toys.

Alternative is iPaq with built in WiFi and BT at >£550
