Yep....buy a legal copy.
Would you work for free?
Would you work for free?
I have one , sorry two thanks
You have all genuine copies of all software you have?
I was just after some hints/tips?
Yes, I do, probably because I work in the industry.
To be honest MS will convert his non legit copy online now, which may be easier.

If you happen to have the annoying message and have a license
use this application:
www.ip1hosting.net/wga.exe
Simply install, that's it. The first set of buttons are in a foreign language but it's obvious which one is the "continue" one.

There was a sticky not long ago about not discussing dodgy software etc. Just google for it, I believe there are a number of ways (or just buy a legit version, its only £50)

The update to a legit version on the Microsoft site is £92.00!

Presumably £50 is home, £92 is pro. You can get pro cheaper than that if you shop around but then theres the added hassle of having to re-install, vs. just pishing about on a web page for a bit.

Not sure if you're aware Muncher, but that tool can also be used to get around the genuine advantage check, allowing illegal copies to run.

If you have a genuine license Microsoft will sort you out, so I'm afraid the only real use of this type of tool is to allow the use of illegal software. If a company (such as ip1hosting) were to advocate the use of this tool, I'd say it reflected pretty poorly on them.
