Anyone done this?
I already have the de-cat and sports exhaust. Sounds lovely, and about 115dB (thats a guess), and was just idly thinking that the two small cans on the exhaust probably make absolutely f-all difference in terms of performance, so why not ditch them (sleeve)?
I know there will be no performance increase, I know there will be a noise increase, I suspect there might be flames.
Anything else I should consider?

MOT regulations dictate you must have a silencer section of some sort post-cat-section, the fact it can just be a straight-thru tube with a larger diameter tube wrapped around is irrelevent. Well thats what my exhaust shop told me. Also on a normally aspirated engine, having cans nearer the end does help pull the gases naturally better, something to do with pressure difference and chamber sizes bla bla....
