Help with sony digital camera and memory stick duo

[woza]

I have just purchased a new sony cybershot and am looking to buy a new memory card as it only has a 32mb internal memory. I have been looking on ebay and loads of them come up, however, they all say they are compatible with certain sony phones and psp's, are the memory sticks universal? Its a memory stick duo that the camera needs.

Please help, it would be much appreciated.

the memory sticks are more expensive than other formats, cheapest i've seen is a 512mb duo pro on amazon around £21 delivered the std MS or MS pro won't fit, the duo is a smaller format.

as long as it's a MS duo should work, although could be some compatibility issues. if in any doubt use a sony one, should work fine.

If you put in memory stick duo into the search in E-bay it will work. I've a 1gb card in my DSC T7 and can get around 3-400 pics on high res.
