GP Masters - BRING YOUR TVR for a PARTY

Hi all,

This event wants you to bring your TVR (any model) to join in the TVR park-up.

We have 15-TVR Tuscan II Convs, Sagaris, Griffiths, 390SEs, Chim, T350 etc joiing us as well as several of the Tuscan Challenge CUp racers bringing their race cars... Tuscan Racers, Tasmin Racers, and S3 racer and Tim Hood's Sagaris Racer. Most (if not all on track) and all at the park-up!

Bring yours down too and have great day out watching GPM cars at 150MPH + banging wheels... and Nigel is coming back home... Join in the pit lane walk about and almost 'touch' the GPM Cars... You may even 'bump' into Nigel or Fittipaldi...

Might be some Champagne and a BBQ as well....

Definitely planning on going, so that you can add a Tamora (the always-overlooked TVR model ) to your list

So where will the TVR park-up be - will you need to issue special access passes, or do we just come along and try to find you?

BTW - I see they still include Alain Prost on the drivers list, but he hasn't been to any of the GPM races yet. Does anyone know if he is actually going to turn up at Silverstone?

Be good to see him racing "Our Nige", as there doesn't appear to have been much competition to Red 5 so far.

Hi all,

All are welcome, especially all models we don't have yet! But basically, the more of everything the better!!

Keep checking the website:

Park-up area will have a 3M TVR pole flag and TVRCC Banner. Location yet to be specified by the promoter. Once known, it will be on the website including whether we need any 'passes' etc.

Dunlop Challenge Cup race-cars are now turning up as well, so thanks to all racers for that. Website shows which ones have confirmed so far. Still discussing with some others.

LATEST UPDATE ON TICKETS

As you know, we had to get 100 tickets to get 10% discount. The promoters wanted to know by 5PM today how many we had so far, as the are starting to sell really fast and they can't wait any longer.

Well, we got 67. So, anyone waiting to hear from me regarding discounted tickets....
You just heard it here. We won't get any!!

So you need to go get your own direct from www.gpmasters.com But BE QUICK, 'cause there a going...

Excellent PR for TVR - a shame TVR Engineering have given it a wide berth. The word is that the owner of TVR does not like race cars - wot a strange acquisition in that case. It will be gr8 and I hope all the TVR's will be there to fly the "Blackpool flag" for Trevor Wilkinson and all those employees of TVR Engineering that have been made redundant but still love the car. Maybe even No. 2 TVR will be there to promote the gr8 event - who knows - only the owner of that gr8 car brought back to life from a rusty relic holds the key!
Come on TVR people - where ru all? Get there if you can - it cant really be missed with the pedigree of ex-F1 drivers that are taking time out to attend.
