Fuses behind the dash, what are they?

Ferreting about behind the dash tonight I came across these two fuses, just out of curiosity and so I know for future reference, does anyone know what they protect?

That'd be my guess too. There are no factory fuses behind my dash.

I have my dash out too, mine has a strange very light black box with a label stating that "the warranty is void if removed from the car". Any idea what it is? Is there one behind your dash Ian? John.

My dash is all back together John, I seem to recall a black box down on the 'bottom' of the inside of the dash, over by the left hand vent, I certainly don't remember anything being labelled about voiding a warranty though or it would have struck me as curious and I'd have asked about that like I did the fuses.

Oh, sorry if it caused any confusion but the Scooter Hooter moniker is a Le Mans joke and my stupid computer can't decide whether to log me on as that or Barreti.

I was told the box behind the dash which states not to disconnect is a calibration unit for the speedo. I have one on my late 94 Griffith.
