suspension bushes

hi all

it is now time for me to start considering suspension bushes

i have the factory wish bones

but what do people recomend for the bushes

as my family motto is drive it like you stole it!!!!!

i need something that will take my kind of abuse

as hard cornering is what i love (apparently i will grow out of this my friends say usually after buying a volvo or people carrier)

I used Super Flex. Part no SPF2043 –95 . Service is very good. It’s interesting the original bushes lasted only 10k miles.

are all the bushes the same or is this the order number for a kit

have you put these throughout or only in the lower link, rear?

The part number applies to the individual bush. I have replaced all the suspension bushes with the super flex product.

18 will be sufficient 4 inners at the front each side, four inners ar the rear each side plus one lower outer at the rear each side.

That design has been superceeded with a rose joint design. Have a look at Stig's build site under May 2005 there is a picture of the latest wishbone design.

i now see the problem but i have the old arms with 20 bushes

how important is this rose bush upgrade and can you get that alone

I had the factory change mine to the rose joint. While they were at it I got them to change all the other bushes for the latest red bushes with the steel inserts.
Did'nt cost that much either.
