hi guys

what protection do i need for morons putting fingers in my handbrake assemly then using it like a guillotine

for SVA

is not letting anyone in with an IQ less than a bowl of patuneias into the car in the first place a good enough defence

None. Similarly, there's nothing in SVA to stop him slamming his finger in the door should he get fed up trying to chop it off wit hthe handbrake!

Seriously, if the handbrak mechanism is above the lowest seated occupant's hip. it will have to meet all the radiused edge requirements in the "interior fittings" section. this is usually done with some sort of gaiter. If it's lower than that, he'd just better keep his fingers out.
