A big thank-you to Carl at Car & Bike Installations Ltd. for his assistance over the phone which allowed the A.A man to sort out the immobiliser.
I wont go into details, i'm just glad to say I was able to get home last night!
Thier help was much appreciated.

After the 'temporary fix' carried out by the AA, a visit to see Carl was needed!
I drove down yesterday and much to Carl's surprise it turned out to be the unit itself.
Apparently this is the first time he has ever had to replace one of the 'new type' T2's!
Apart from the car not being able to start the other sign was that the red LED was flashing
erratically. Whilst there i decided to go for the key fob upgrade and a remote boot release.
All in all an expert job with not too much damage to the wallet.
A good job carried out by a good bloke in great heat!
Many thanks also to his wife for the refreshments.
