This year is the first time I'll be going in a Porsche and just wondered if anyone could recommend which is the better of the car parks to use. Have been several times in my Jeep and a few of the exit routes from some of the car parks would not suit a low slung car.

Any tips on which number car park to head for greatly appreciated.

I was thinking the same thing I have just changed from a C4S which never had any trouble to a GT3 which catches on every lump in the road. GRRC normaly have a supercar parking area at the front for badge holders so I have just emailed James at GRRC to ask him I will post his reply

Personally I'd avoid taking the Porsche, won't be taking mine.

Unless you're local the traffic is a nightmare, all the car parks are fields, some are very very rutted. Some are better than others though, speak to the marshalls.

Sounds good, guess you have to get there reasonably early to get on it though?

Slightly off-topic, but can anyone tell me whether parking is a problem at events like their monthly breakfast meetings? There's going to be one on August 6 which is aimed at German sportscars and I'd thought of going. It doesn't make much sense having to take a family saloon simply to overcome poor parking facilities!

The Goodwood Breakfast Club details can be seen at: www.goodwood.co.uk/breakfastclub/

Looks like an opportunity to get some nice Porsches together!

Parking isn't poor at the breakfast club. You park in the regular tarmac car park and paddock with all the other 'normal' cars and non-themed exotica.

Up the road for me, so I'm always there.
