After hearing Niges good news i felt inspired to post some pics of how the progress on my Black Z is coming along, its full on now and ime hoping to MOT her next week.

New wheels, still with the old Brembo brakes on.

Still need to find some centre caps.

New knob came through this morning, interior is 99% finished too, just silly little things like radio surround need to be fitted.

It is a touch,i did some work on it before i had the top end work and valves added and got it up to 545hp(graph provided from Surrey Rolling Road) so ime *hoping* for it to be in the 600's once ive run it around and happy to dyno it.

Wicked Cliff, looks the absolute nuts - definitely prefer the new wheels to the A-mold 5 spokes or the originals. Glad the new knob has the 6-speed gate on it, the plain ones don't do these boxes justice.

P.S. What are the screwdrivers in the head for? Are they for locking the cams in place?

Malc.

Yes i prefer the gear knob with the gate on it,i got it from the guy who suplied the short shifter, the screwdrivers position the cams in place and when the crank locator is in 'Home' position you know its all timed up ready to be torqued off.

I put them on the red one initialy but because of their size they go with the bigger brakes that will fit the black one, thanks for the centre cap imfo, have you dealt with them?
