for red read pink in a couple of years time when the sun's done its worst to the paint. Talking of which I must scan in the photoshop pics and post them on here from Fast & Modified magazine last month - they had the Monaro as the starting point and one of them was pink!!

Reds won't fade as the UV protection in the CC is very good nowadays. Top that with a good selant and wax and bob's yer uncle. That monaro was probably pink coz the cameraman used a flash. Mine always went pink when I used a flash.

He says its an 05 but it has the proper boot with the petrol tank below, does that mean its an 04 but not registered till 05?

yeah its a late registered 04 model - I had to tell him to change his ad as he was saying it was a 354bhp model - which it clearly isnt. That dealer has sold a couple of them now through Ebay - wonder where he gets them from. Theres a similiar type place up here gets loads of 2nd hand "quality" cars - turns out he gets all the trade ins from the local Merc dealership. Wonder if its a similiar setup with this guy.
