I'm guessing that the guys from the Citroen design department were at the pub one night, on a particularly heavy session, when some onion wearing bloke in a beret came up and said "You know that Audi A2, don't you think that'd look good with a touch of Citroen's unique styling talents?" And before you know it instead of applying the philosophy of "you can't polish a turd" Pierre and his suitably sauced mates create this "example of French genius". Hmmm. (Though in translation "example of French genius" could well have been "abortion".) Edited by Eastie on Thursday 13th September 13:16

Sorry Eastie and Preston, But the original brief was to corner more of the female market. The lack of pedals and steering column combined with MPV style swivel seats offered a design that would allow busy young female executives to change clothes and put on make up whilst on their way from work to wine bar. This was removed from the final release of the press packs along with the original name - Citroen Cross Dresser.. I'll get me wellies Ted ....

maybe I'm the only person who likes it, but I think its pretty nifty and completely original. make an edgy car that has some silhouette-dominating arcs, and suddenly its a TT. I think that while this car obviously doesn't appeal to everyone, it's not meant to and is far too edgy to consider in any form a car that could be mutated for production, so there is no reason to get all miffed about its cosmetic failures. the notable part here is that someone took the time and energy to show that not all borders are set just so, this car shows the relatively pointless, but still fascinating cross between minivan, pickup, and roadster. The difference, of course, is that citroen is smart enough not to build it, But that GM doesn't share the same brilliance, as is proven by the silly chevy avalanche (another brilliant engineering effort, but silly, and they missed the point and made it a car you can buy.)
