Help, MOT Failure, parts needed.

Hello again all. As my topic suggests, my 1997 Chimaera has just failed its MOT, on a few minor niggles, but I, nor any garage I have taken the car to has a clue as to where to get the parts. The parts are as follows. Universal Joint on the steering rack, steering rack gaitor, and brake pipe, all on the drivers side. Also, my radiator fans have stopped working, I have checked the fuse, but all is ok with that, steam poured from the radiator when it was failing its MOT, how embarrasing was that. Any help would be much appreciated as I am not of the technical ilk on these matters. Thanks in advance. Kev.

Possibly your cooling fans not working (maybe just one of them, which is enough to overheat!). Dodgy switch connection dangles beneath them, so have a poke around.
