As you know from previous posts there were a few guys travelling down to South France around June/July time (holidays, etc)

Well I left on Tuesday from Rosyth to Zeebrugge, and drove Wednesday all the way to Frejus (South France)

When approaching Dijon I noticed the Black clouds (I mean Black!!!) Yip! I have to say I went through one of the worst storms ever, the hail was not far of the size of golf balls and to cut a long story short I have 3 Large (10p size) dents/dings in my roof with about a further 6 small ones I checked out the rest of the car and this seems fine. It was really frightening, lightening flashing next to us, a couple of cars down ditches, trees falling, all traffic on Autoroute had stopped for about 15/20min as it was so bad!

Hope a good repair man can get these out!!!

Not a happy start to my Hols (vacation)

They'll polish out

Chipsaway might be able to help.

PDR (paintless dent removal) to a roof can be problematical as there is no easy access behind the panel. The interior roof lining will probably have to be removed which will obviously increase the £££

Think yourself lucky its not a BMW CSL with a carbon roof (I wonder if they would crack under those circumstances )

Shouldn't be a problem, Chipsaway (Dents Away) have operatives who follow the storms around in The US doing nothing but this type of repair.

Thanks guys for the info!

The only problem I can see is that 2 of the dents might be over a cross member/pillar underneath the roof!

But will confirm when I return home in a few weeks!

Thanks all
