Roof interior trim...how does it fit???

Ok, bit of a silly question. The central GRP leather clad spine running the roof interior on my T350targa, how does it fit at the rear (close to the hatch)?

Took mine off yesterday since the rear hex bolt wasn't in properly. Now have it back on securely but cant quite decide what it looked like at the rear? It is now visible looking in through the rear glass, ie. you can see 'u' shaped end of the grp (leather clad) panel as it terminates at the rear. I don't remember seeing this before but cant say that I looked that hard! Does it somehow fit inside another trim piece??

If you mean the bit behind the interior light then yes, it does not 'close off' at the rear and if you peer in through the window you can see the light wiring. A bit of cardboard blocking this gap would probably finish it off.
