Some excellent vids here for broadband types:

M3race is worth the wait and the pikes peak race shows some of the best driving I have ever witnessed.

I'd advise a download manager as I got to 90% on a few and it timed out.

Well done that man, I have been trying to leech all the Clarkson films for ages from Kazaa, but no one has them.

I will have all four in about three hours, thanks to you, and Telewest Broadband 1 megabit, excellent ISP (and no I don't work for them!)

Cheers

Guys have just finished downloading all of the Getaway in Stockholm files. Any ideas how to link them all together.

You need to get WINRAR, and extract the final .rar to a folder (all the others are .rxx), with the the .sfx file as well.

you then use Nero to Burn Image to a blank cd, using the .bin file that should have been extracted from the .rar file, and hey presto you have playable cd that you can use PowerDVD to play.

Mail me if you get stuck.

And here's a protest page. It turns out that, on a 1Mbps connection, it will cost over £1 per gig d/loaded ffs

I downloaded one of the Clarkson Vids (No Limits) and was disappointed to find it had no sound. I was using DivX 5, but it still wouldn't play in glorious stereo. Anyone had similar problems or advice on how to fix it?

You need the AC3 sound filter, send me an e-mail via my profile and I'll send them to you (or you could download them, but I can't find where I got them from right now). It's only a 300k zipped file.

Check your terms and conditions - they have to confirm any changes to the service IN WRITING before it occurs. Effectively it would be a new contract so you should be able to break it due to them changing it on you - so you can swap to someone else without any issues (if you have anything available that is). If its not in writing then sue them - its in the terms and conditions....

Cheers,

Paul

P.S. There is a legal argument that putting a limit on the download is in breach of the agreement in the first place - potentially a cause to sue there also. But if you win you would still have to find an alternative supplier anyway...

As my phone line and TV are also with ntl, it's going to be a pain sorting it all out, thanks for the advice anyway!

If anyone wants the AC3 sound filter, it's at www.doom9.org/ -->downloads -->audiofilters (it's about 3/4 of the way down the page).
