As i am just going through the procedures for speeding again [39 in a 30] major criminal am i NOT My mind started to wander [ not driving at the time ]if there is an increase in banned drivers due to cameras police etc etc what will the Government achived.
We all know its a stealth tax with North Wales screwing £420.000 in July out of speeding nice earner but it doesn't add up
Say you get banned 12 points 4 times £60 = £240 thats it they can't get any more out of you for however long
On the other hand they will lose
New car tax
Road tax ?
Fuel tax ????????????
Insurance VAT
M.O.T.
Garage loses out one less customer
New car sales lose out
Secondhand car sales lose out
Tourisum suffers can't tour
Not forgetting possible loss of job leading to
No job so on benefits
Lesser payed job less taxable income
Family suffer
Loss of house
The list goes on
OK Maybe i have gone to far just a thought, but i never known a long term thinking politican yet
Have you?

Nail well and truely hit on the head. I think that it is a genetic requirement that forsight and medium term memory have to be poor to enter into the profession. I believe that Nu Labia got elected on the promise of no tax increases FFS

Seems obvious to me that this way they can get people out of their cars and still make money.
